Local siren control
Select configured signals, hold Test for momentary operation, cancel an active signal and see its elapsed time. Local configuration connects signal patterns to the relay outputs and inputs your installation needs.

At the cabinet. Across your county. One clearer picture of your siren system.
Project Sentinel brings local controls, weather awareness, automatic testing and maintenance information together. Explore the actual controller interface below, with demonstration data, and HMI artwork based on our touchscreen firmware.
BUILT AROUND DAILY OPERATION
Select configured signals, hold Test for momentary operation, cancel an active signal and see its elapsed time. Local configuration connects signal patterns to the relay outputs and inputs your installation needs.
Set weekly or monthly tests, choose the time, duration and participating relays. The Home page shows the next test, countdown and weather decision—including a weather-related skip—and lets an administrator cancel automatic testing for the rest of the month.
Review controller and HMI connection, inputs, output states and reported faults. Configured chopper-contactor feedback helps confirm that the contactor responded, beyond the command alone.
Review signal usage, last activations and automatic-test outcomes. Event records help connect what the system did with the conditions and inputs at the time.
A time-since-maintenance counter keeps the last service visible. Reset it after completed work, and use reported history to plan the next inspection.
Assign digital-input functions, relay outputs and panel indicators. Administrator access protects setup, while maintenance and inhibit status remain visible to the operator.
AT THE CABINET
Know the state of the system before you touch a control.
The HMI brings controller link, safety state, output status and active faults together on the Home screen. Dedicated screens provide siren controls, diagnostics, settings and weather information.
These clean illustrations follow the actual HMI firmware’s screen geometry, colors and controls. They show example status, rather than a live hardware session.
Available controls and features depend on installed firmware, hardware and configuration. Retrofit compatibility is reviewed for each siren.
LOCATION-AWARE WEATHER
A tornado dashboard puts your configured site on the map beside the warning area.
Review NWS warning status, issuance and expiration, storm information and local observations in the controller’s web interface. The dashboard supports a radar overlay; this example leaves radar off so the site marker and sample warning polygon are easy to see.
Configure your siren’s location in your county and enable local NWS automatic activation. The controller checks official tornado warnings affecting that location, then uses the configured signal, duration and applicable safeguards. A warning elsewhere in the county does not by itself mean your site is affected.
Internet or API failure is an unknown weather status—not an all-clear. Radar imagery and displayed storm distance are informational, not independent activation commands.
CAP—the Common Alerting Protocol—provides structured alert fields. The separate test firmware evaluates event type, severity, urgency, certainty, message age and geographic matching, including whether the configured site is inside a supplied warning polygon.
Choose normal NWS operation, CAP preview, or explicitly enabled CAP automatic output. Preview reports decisions without CAP activation. The CAP rules are experimental; direct IPAWS integration is not included.
The remote monitoring website reports site status and history. It cannot activate, cancel, configure or update a siren controller.

We offer weather-radio backup options using a compatible alert receiver connected to a configured controller input. Receiver event selection, coverage and the electrical interface are matched to the installation.
This provides a separate incoming alert path when the internet-based weather feed is unavailable.
Cellular-connected options use a suitable cellular router and data service to support weather data and remote monitoring where wired internet is unavailable, or as part of a planned backup connection.
Coverage, carrier service, antenna placement and power backup are evaluated for each site.
